This is wonderful, as usual. I loved your writing about the strengths and weaknesses of each book. And of course you are right. I've done that as well, but only for myself, not my readers. I enjoyed your comments about Nice. I hadn't thought about it being not quite France, like New Orleans is not quite the U.S., but that's perfect.
And AI. I guess it gathers from a cross section of reviews to formulate its own. Maybe? It was pretty good, but I just can't wrap my head around it, and really don't want to. I knew about that lawsuit and am hoping every writer is well compensated.
But I have to say, that photo is fantastic! Kudos to your nephews. And that class looks great. I'll probably enroll. Safe travels!
Another excellent newsletter. Loved the description of Nice and the beach/waterfront. as I've never been there. I was also glad to see you're an invited to the book fair there, and are part of the legal case against AI sites which pilfered your work, and ,amyh others' writing, too. And then letting ChatGPT critique your books. Brilliant and brave. Bravo.
